Curriculum
With an education from King College---
The purpose of the King College Core Curriculum is to introduce
and guide all King students in the exploration of concepts and skills essential
for a life of learning, serving, and creating. The King College Core Curriculum
is a 45-51 semester hour program.
The Quest, an integral part of the Core
Curriculum, is an introductory approach to Western traditions. This year-long
course of study challenges students with primary texts along with global
critiques and perspectives on theological, intellectual, aesthetic, and cultural
traditions. The Quest courses are taken by all new freshmen in their
first year. Transfer students may have to take some Quest courses to
fulfill the Core Curriculum requirements for graduation.
